 OPTIONS

 

  • Select from 3, 5, 8, or 12 Lesson Programs based on your needs 

  • Lessons are 40 minutes each on average and held once a week for the duration of the program

  • An ideal option for owners requiring flexible scheduling, or unable to commit to a group class 

  • Perfect for dogs who may be over-stimulated, easily distracted, shy, or simply not ready (yet) for a group class environment 

  • Great for involving the whole family (including the kids!) 

  • Lessons held at our K9O Center in Sperryville. At-Home lessons available on a limited basis (travel fees apply)

Our private puppy training programs offer everything to get you and your pup started on the right paw! Our approach to puppy rearing incorporates elements of:

  • Socialization and Acclimation Training 

  • Housebreaking and Toilet Training 

  • Crate Training and Anxiety Prevention 

  • Play Biting and Inappropriate Chewing 

  • Handling Desensitization for Vet and/or Groomer 

  • Basic Obedience and Preparing for Adolescence

We are happy to incorporate any specific goals and help troubleshoot problem areas as part of your training program. 

​

We encourage family members (including kids!) to take part in lessons to insure consistency within the household. 

​

We recommend 3 lessons for trouble shooting, 5 lessons for a good foundation, and 8 lessons for a more intensive training experience.
